What we do
We are Safe Food
Systems, Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With a
combined experience of more than eighty years food
service and food industry expertise, we are a
company committed to the health and safety of the
food service industry and its patrons.
We offer training, instruction and examinations in
order to satisfy the state mandated food safety
certification requirements for food service workers
and managers. You may elect to receive manager certification
examinations through the National Registry of
Food Safety Professionals, ServSafe, or Prometric.
We offer you a choice of all three
Certified Manager Examinations that are approved by the state
of Florida. The curriculum used for our basic food
safety course is Food Safety First!, also a
state approved program, and was written and produced
by Drexel University.
Our Curriculum
Safe Food Systems has developed their highly successful
Certified Food
Manager course curriculum over the past several years. This
five-hour course covers all the information needed to prepare students to pass
the examination and students are given two hours to complete the exam. We are
proud of the fact that 97% of our students pass the exam on their first
attempt after attending our course. Certification is valid for five years.
The curriculum for the
Food Handler’s Class, our basic food safety course, was
written by Drexel University. The objective of this two-hour video program is
to teach the importance of developing proper, safe behaviors when handling,
preparing and serving food to the public. Certification is valid for three
years.
Successful completion of either of our courses will satisfy the appropriate
requirements of the state mandated food safety statutes.
Convenient Training Locations
Safe Food Systems conducts food safety
classes and administers certification examinations in
many cities throughout the state of
Florida. If we are not in your city yet, please call us.
Our food safety classes are usually conducted in our own Safe Food Systems

conveniently located throughout the state.
